Oxnard College General Education (OC GE)

All Students pursuing an Associate Degree, an Associate in Arts (AA) or Associate in Science (AS), must complete General Education requirements in addition to coursework in their major. The Oxnard College General Education plan is generally appropriate for degrees with a career preparation focus or other degrees that are not designed to prepare students for transfer. Students planning to complete an Associate Degree for Transfer will need to complete the California General Education Transfer Curriculum (Cal-GETC) instead. Most of the AA or AS Degrees at Oxnard College allow students to choose from either the Oxnard College General Education plan or the California General Education Transfer C
