Provides training in coordinated mouth-to-mouth artificial ventilation and chest compression, choking, life-threatening emergencies, and sudden illness. Certifications include American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers. Credit will not be awarded for both HLT 105 and HLT 106 . Lecture 1 hour per week.
