Cardiovasc
Cardiovascular technologists assist cardiologists in the diagnostic and treatment processes directed at heart and vascular disease. They use the latest medical technology to conduct tests on the cardiovascular system of patients and assist with electrocardiograms (EKG¿s), cardiac catheterizations, echocardiograms, and similar tests. Students will choose their specialty area of Adult Echocardiography or Invasive Cardiology during their third semester of the program and tract only in their specialty area.
