Geography (GEOG)
Geography is the study of the people, places, and environments that make up our world. The Geography Program at Arkansas offers an undergraduate major leading to a Bachelor of Science in geography. Students may choose tracks in either technical geography or human geography, or a general track that draws from the breadth of the major. The program also offers a minor in geography. Undergraduates who wish to major in geography should identify themselves to the department as soon as possible to develop a meaningful sequence of courses and take part in departmental opportunities.
