MATH 113 — Mathematical Reasoning and
Modeling Credit Hours: 3 MOTR Equivalent: MOTR MATH 120 Mathematical Reasoning & Modeling, Mathematical Sciences Prerequisite: MATH 102, MATH 110, or MATH 112 with a grade of C or higher or equivalent placement score. Corequisite: MATH 102. Provides humanities students with a comprehensive overview of the skills required to navigate the mathematical demands of modern life and a deeper understanding of mathematical information. Students will develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills in order to draw conclusions, make decisions, and communicate effectively in mathematical situations that depend upon multiple factors. Offered Fall, Spring, and Summer.
