MACH 105 — Metrology
Credit Hours: 4 Prerequisite: None. Metrology consists of three major measurement components: Dimensional Metrology (the science of calibrating and using physical measurement equipment to quantify the physical size of or distance from any given object); Metallurgy Metrology (the science of indenting, testing, and creating traceability in materials); and General Metrology (the science of understanding and interpreting “blue prints”, recognizing errors, understanding views, and utilizing GD&T concepts). Offered Fall and Spring. (1 lecture, 3 lab)
