ENGL 0921 - Fundamentals of Writing 1 ENGL 0921 - Fundamentals of Writing 1 4 Credits This course is designed for beginning writers who need additional foundational writing instruction and experience. It provides sequenced instruction in grammar usage, sentence construction, paragraph unity and coherence, and the writing process. Students will study models of effective sentences and paragraphs and then generate their own work. Additionally, this course will focus on building vocabulary for fluency and precision in communication. Completion of this course with a grade of “C” or better is required to continue on to ENGL 0922 . 4C/4/0/0 Prerequisite(s): Placement into this course will be according to college assessment score
