MATH206 — Mathematics for Elementary Teaching II

(M1 903) 4 lectures per week: 4 hrs transfer credit This course is a continuation of Mathematics for Elementary Teaching I. The topics studied include geometry, probability, statistics, and measurement. Mathematical reasoning and problem solving are emphasized. This course is the second in the two course sequence of MATH 200 and MATH 206 designed for Education majors seeking state licensure. This course provides general education credit. This is a mathematics content course, not a methods course in teaching mathematics.
