MATH112 — General Education Mathematics
(IAI: M1 904) 3 lectures per week: 3 hrs transfer credit This course is designed for the liberal arts student who is not a math, science, or business major. The course focuses on mathematical reasoning and solving real life problems. The following topics will be studied in depth: set theory and logic, the mathematics of finance, and counting techniques and probability. The use of calculators and computers will be a component of the course.
