IT240 — Linux Operating System

The major essential command-line commands, as well as use of the graphical user interface are covered. This course provides theoretical and practical concepts including file systems, elementary shell scripting, and other end-use knowledge necessary to move to the next level of basic system administration. Basic administrative tasks that are necessary for maintaining a working system are explored.

Prerequisites: IT140, ENG099
