FST111 — Company Fire Officer Seminar
2 lectures, 2 lab hrs per week: 3 hrs credit Students will research and investigate how their fire department meets the policies, procedures, applicable laws that govern them. Students will demonstrate competency in areas such as station and emergency operations, human resource management, community and government relations, fire department administration, inspections and investigations, emergency service delivery and health and safety. A lengthy evaluation document must be handed in at the conclusion of the course.
