ED100 — Foundations of American Public Education

The social, historical, and philosophical foundations are used to give perspective to an examination of current issues, policies and trends in the field of education, including cultural diversity and the standards movement. The organization and structure, financing, and curriculum issues in education are also discussed. A clinical component of 15 hours is required.
