DA104 — Dental Radiology

Hazards, safety precautions, and infection control are covered. Intraoral and extraoral techniques, landmarks, processing of radiographs and the mounting and viewing of films are emphasized. Regulations and management of clients with special needs are covered. Students assess clients, complete treatment plans, and perform a required number of examinations and radiographic surveys on manikins and selected clients in a laboratory setting. Students are responsible for client recruitment.
