NURS 2926 — Psychosocial Nursing for the Professional Nurse

Prerequisite: Admission into the Associate Degree Nursing Mobility Program Corequisite: none This course will assist the Licensed Practical Nurse in their development as a caregiver and advocate for patients with psychosocial concerns. Students will apply a holistic approach to individuals, families, and groups experiencing mental health issues while integrating physiological, nutritional, pharmacological, and other treatment modality concepts.
