MTTP 2260 — - Cutting Tool Technology
Prerequisite: MTTP 1265 Machining Fundamentals and MTTP 1208 Measuring Tools Corequisite: none This course emphasizes the identification and use of standard and special cutting tools. Cutting tools will be examined as to their application in conventional machining. Cutting inserts such as carbides and cermets will be examined as to their use in CNC machining.
