Prerequisite: MTTP 1208 Measuring Tools and MTTP 1245 Machining Fundamentals I Corequisite: none This course is a continuation of MTTP 1245 Machining Fundamentals I and covers the basic principles of milling machine and engine lathe operation. Topics include machine safety, set-up, tool selection, use of attachments, documentation of manufacturing processes and inspection procedures. Students will manufacture machine tool projects to blueprint specifications using appropriate manufacturing processes. Transfer Curriculum Goal(s): none
