EDUC 2750 — - Introduction to Education
Prerequisite: EDUC 1210 Child Growth and Development Corequisite: none The course will provide students with a comprehensive overview of the educational system in the United States. Students will explore the historical, sociological, political, and cultural dimensions of education, as well as key concepts, theories, and practices that shape the educational landscape. Through a combination of lectures, readings, discussions, and practical activities, students will gain a deeper understanding of the structure, functions, challenges, and opportunities within the E-12 education system.
