Prerequisite: Placement determined by a college ready assessment score in reading Corequisite: none This course investigates the processes of interpersonal and small group communication and the practices of public speaking. Students will examine theories of communication and participate in various forms of interpersonal, small group, and public communication. Along with the emphasis on communication studies, students will develop their skills of communicating with others, thinking critically, organizing ideas clearly, and speaking, presenting, and listening effectively.
