Prerequisite: Computer application proficiency Corequisite: none This course introduces students to networking concepts, technologies, and typical network administration duties found in the workplace. Students will learn communication models, network protocols, IP addressing and subnetting, physical and logical topologies for local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN), transmission media, and basic router and switch configuration.
