Studio Art is the study of how to create art, the development of an understanding about how art is made and finding your place in society. As a student in Studio Art you may take courses in color theory, ceramics, drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture, jewelry, two-dimensional design and three-dimensional design. The Associate of Arts (AA) degree with designation in Studio Art includes courses that are common to all four-year institutions in Colorado and will prepare you for continued study at a four-year institution in pursuit of a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree or a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Studio Art.
