BUSNONPROF — NON-PROFIT MANAGEMENT
This course is designed to prepare directors, managers and program coordinators of non-profit and volunteer agencies and programs to understand the effective management of volunteers and administration of volunteer agencies and programs. Course topics can include but are not limited to understanding the difference between non-profit and for profit entities, the duties of an executive director, board of directors and special events coordinators, how to plan a volunteer program, developing volunteer program policies, effective personnel management of volunteers, how to organize and maintain administrative records, and other related topics. The "Volunteer Management Training" course endorsed by the NC Association of Volunteer Administrators can be offered under this course code.
