ACM3500 — Animal Trainer
This course prepares individuals to train animals for security, performance riding, harness, obedience, or assisting persons with disabilities. Topic focus on animal healthcare, grooming, kennel operations, how to accustom animals to human voice and contact and how to condition animals to respond to psychology, sociology, and behavioral commands. Successful completion of the course will prepare the student for employment as a Service Dog Trainer, Veterinary Assistant, Kennel Owner or Worker, or work with a Veterinary business.
