This course provides techniques, approaches, and experiential methodology for implementing and documenting animal assisted interactions. Emphasis is placed on applying the knowledge and animal handling skills to create safe, ethical, goal-oriented interactions within various environments with proper documentation. Upon completion, students should be able to design and document an animal assisted interaction visit for a specific population.
