This course covers the knowledge and skills necessary for program evaluation and outcome measurement processes used in animal interaction services. Topics include the effect of animal interactions on participant outcomes, assessment of outcome measures, and evaluation of overall program goals and objectives. Upon completion, students should be able to utilize basic concepts of outcome based evaluation processes to objectively evaluate animal interaction service within supervised settings.
