AAI130 — Animal Handling Skills
This course covers the capacities of different species for work with diverse goals and populations in animal interactions and introduces components critical to animals' well-being. Emphasis is placed on expanding critical thinking, and competence in animal handling and management skills necessary for development as a well-rounded, responsible animal handler. Upon completion, students should be able to identify interaction risks, animal handling and training practices, and assess animal interaction effectiveness.
