MUS 21H — WORLD MUSIC HONORS

Introduces skills for listening to music within both Western and non-Western musical traditions. Includes study vocal and instrumental tradition, historical and cultural issues. Attendance at live concerts may be required. Honors course: required reading of advanced texts, scholarly articles, and an in-class presentation. Credit is given for MUS 21 or 21H, not both.
