JA 3 — INTERMEDIATE JAPANESE I

This course is designed to develop further the students' abilities in listening, speaking, reading, and writing, and expand their vocabulary and mastery of approximately 230 Kanji characters. There will be increased emphasis on complex sentence structures and idiomatic expressions, as well as on Japanese history and culture. JA 3 is taught in Japanese.
