HUM 21 — INTRODUCTION TO ASIAN RELIGIONS

This course is intended to provide an introduction to the religions of Asia, including Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, Sikhism, Confucianism, Taoism, Shinto and Pacific Island religions. This course will cover the history as well as key doctrinal, philosophical, devotional, ritual and social aspects of these religions, including an introduction to primary texts.
