DNCE 68 — TOURING DANCE ENSEMBLE-DANCE COMPETITIONS
This course prepares students for participation in regional and/or national dance competitions. Students study traditional and contemporary choreography through rehearsal and competitive performance. The focus is on bringing one or more dance works to a high level of performance so as to best represent Irvine Valley College at intercollegiate and dance industry concerts and competitions, including the American College Dance Association. Students experience different repertoire each semester it is offered. Field trips to the competitions are mandatory.
