ANTH 2 — CULTURAL ANTHROPOLOGY

This course presents a cross-cultural, comparative study of human behavior including current ethical obligations of anthropologists. The course investigates the relationship between language and culture; subsistence strategies; social organization; marriage and family patterns; systems of kinship and descent; economic, political, and religious systems; psychological anthropology; components of cultural change and the impact of globalization on language and culture.
