This program prepares you for employment as a paramedic who is qualified to give emergency care to patients. The Eastern Arizona College Paramedic Training Program follows the guidelines set forth by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP, www.caahep.org) upon the recommendation of the Committee on Accreditation of Educational Programs for the Emergency Medical Services Professions (CoAEMSP). After successfully completing the certificate, you are eligible to take the required National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians examinations at the Paramedic level.
