EMT212 — Paramedic II
The Eastern Arizona College Paramedic Training program follows the guidelines set forth by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (www.caahep.org) upon the recommendation of the Committee on Accreditation of Educational Programs for the Emergency Medical Services Professions (CoAEMSP). Continuous enrollment in EMT 210, 212, and 214 is the study of emergency medical care and evaluation and treatment of injuries. The program focuses on both technical and practical knowledge while providing in depth skills training to evaluate and treat a wide variety of both medical and trauma emergencies in the prehospital setting. Progression of learning includes didactic/laboratory integrated with or followed by additional clinical/field experience. Students will be required to complete a minimum of 24 clinical hours for EMT 212. Check the current catalog for all course fees.
