Overview of the field of Polysomnography, job responsibilities, and credentialing. Normal and abnormal sleep patterns, integrating the physiologic functions of the nervous system. Emphasis on basic sleep sciences, physiology, sleep medicine processes, diagnosis and treatment of sleep disordered breathing, PSG patient hook-up, monitoring procedures and patient education.
