Early Childhood Education (AAS)
The Associate of Applied Science degree in Early Childhood Education provides the foundation for advanced study and is aligned with NAEYC and CDA standards. Students learn to implement quality, developmentally appropriate learning programs for children ages 0-8. The program includes 4 semesters/300 hours of practicum field experience and prepares graduates to meet Michigan educational requirements for child care center program directors.
