EAM 4506 — Internship
Provides practical experience in the emergency management field and applies emergency management theory to actual problems in a non-classroom situation. A minimum of 200 hours per 3 credit hours of relevant work experience must be completed in an approved internship site. The student will work with an advisor to have a site approved by the internship coordinator prior to course enrollment. Six hours are required to meet the requirements for the major. May be repeated for up to six hours of credit. Required for major.
