COMS 4653 — Big Data and Cloud Computing

Topics include characteristics and types of big data, distributed file systems, batch and stream processing, NoSQL databases, and scalable data analytics platforms. The course also explores cloud infrastructure and services for deploying big data applications in cloud environments.
