CHEM 4033 — Medicinal Chemistry

is the science of design and synthesis of (mainly) small organic molecules which display biological effects in living systems. The discipline includes investigation of pharmacology of these chemical agents. In this course, special emphasis will be given to rational drug design and structure-activity relationship (SAR).
