Continuation of CHEM 3324 . Early and modern quantum theory, wave mechanics and the Schrödinger wave equation, valence bond theory, molecular orbital (MO) theory, computational chemistry, group theory and molecular symmetry, vibrational and rotational spectroscopy. Lecture 3 hours, laboratory 3 hours.
