BLAW 2133 — Honors Legal Environment of Business

Students will be introduced to fundamental legal principles for both civil and criminal matters, as well as the structure of the court systems at both the federal and state level. The course will focus on legal issues in business including torts, employment law, intellectual property, basic property law, corporate organizations, bankruptcy, contracts, and commercial transactions.
