AT 2524 — CNC Turning
This course introduces students to the cutting-edge technologies driving modern manufacturing, including Computer Numerical Control (CNC), Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM) software, and specialty materials. Students will learn all aspects of CNC machining, including how to upload and download programs to CNC machines and apply machining techniques to produce parts. The course culminates in hands-on experience with a CNC Turning Machining Center, where students will gain practical skills in machining parts using a turning machine. By the end of the course, students will have a solid understanding of both the theoretical and practical elements of CNC turning.
