Law Enforcement Training Academy
This program is offered only to individuals who have met the minimum qualifica - tions for a peace officer applicant as specified by the Arizona Peace Officer Standards and Training Board (AZPOST). To attend the academy, an individual must either be appointed by a law enforcement agency or through an application process as set forth by the Public Safety Institute. For information regarding the Law Enforcement Training Academy, contact the Public Safety Institute. The Academy is comprised of two semester segments that operate parallel to the academic school year. Background check required.
