MLTP2400 — Clinical Immunohematology
MLTP 2400 - Clinical Immunohematology MLTP 2400 - Clinical Immunohematology Lecture: 2 Lab: 3 MLTP 2400 introduces the student to the basic genetics of red cell antigens. Students will also study the significance of the blood cell antigens and antibodies, uses of specific blood components for transfusion, component processing, donor requirements and various transfusion associated disease states. Laboratory instruction emphasizes ABO and Rh typing, antibody detection and identification, and cross matching procedures. Prerequisite: Grade of “C” or better in MLTP 1100 and MLTP 1200 Course Classification: T Fees: A fee applies to this course
