MECH 1501 - Metal Fabrication MECH 1501 - Metal Fabrication Lecture: 1 Lab: 3 Fundamentals of common metal fabrication operations used in manufacturing. Students will do work with sheet metal, tubing, and weldment. Labs focus on hands-on activities such as fabricating formed parts, cutting/bending tubing, fixturing parts for welding, and basics of stick and MIG welding.
