Recognize sonographic appearance of normal early pregnancy and common first trimester complications. Identify key fetal structures and standard biometry used during routine second and third trimester exams. Differentiate normal from abnormal patterns in placenta, amniotic fluid, and cervical assessment at a basic level. Describe common gynecologic conditions that are frequently evaluated with ultrasound. Communicate patient clinical history and observed sonographic findings to supervising staff.
