(1, 2, 9, 10) Explain commercial pilot privileges, limitations, and flight operations. Explain NTSB accident reporting guidelines and requirements. Interpret airplane weight and balance and performance data. Make use of airplane aerodynamics, performance, and weight and balance principles and data to describe the significance and effects of exceeding airplane performance limitations. (3, 4) Explain principles and functions of aircraft systems. Plan safe, legal, and efficient local and cross-country flights using relevant charts, publications, navigation methods, and performance data. (1, 3, 6, 7, 10) Explain the hazards, risks, and flight planning considerations for night and high-altitude flights. Summarize emergency preparedness, procedures, and decision-making. Explain commercial pilot maneuvers and procedures. Utilize risk management skills to plan safe and efficient operations and make a safe go/no-go decision.
