3 credits Lecture: 3 per week Provides an introduction to current and emergent issues that affect the health of the general population, measures taken to address the disease burden, and indicators and/or tools used to assess population health.Examines agencies and organizations involved in international health, the impact of the environment and politics on health, and the relationship between health and human rights.
