MASG 120 - Swedish Massage I MASG 120 - Swedish Massage I The technique of traditional (Swedish) massage is presented. Students will learn the theory and practice the application of Swedish massage techniques including, but not limited to, effleurage, pertissage, tapotement. Students will also learn the theory and application of proper body mechanics, positioning, and draping. Primary emphasis will be in the application of these techniques to the lower extremities and back region. Students must receive a minimum of a C in this course to progress. Credit Min Units 3 Credit Max Units 3 Req Group Description Student must be admitted to the Massage Therapy program.
