MATH1332 — Contemporary Mathematics (Quantitative Reasoning)
(3-3-0). Intended for Non-STEM (Science, T echnology, Engineering, and Mathematics) majors. T opics include introductory treatments of sets and logic, financial mathematics, probability and statistics with appropriate applications. Number sense, proportional reasoning, estimation, technology, and communcation is embedded throughout the course. Additional topics may be covered. Prerequisite: A grade of C or higher in MATH 0300 or MATH
