EDCT212 — Engmnt & Advocacy CTE Teachers
Introduces CTE teachers to the elements, goals, and strategies for engaging families and the community, with emphasis on relationship building, outreach, developing strong partnerships, and engaging diverse stakeholders in the classroom. Topics include research supporting family and community engagement, national and state standards for family-school-community engagement and partnerships, and quality collaboration methods to enhance learning and support student success.
