SUR535 — Surgical Preceptorship

2 credits This course is conducted in a surgical facility and provides students an on-the-job clinical experience with a variety of perioperative assignments. The student will experience a wide variety of operating room situations where he/she will use the skills learned in the classroom. Under the supervision of the clinical preceptor, the student will take part in surgical procedures and work as a member of the surgical team demonstrating preparedness for entry level employment. Instructor consent required. Prerequisite: SUR 214 Semester Typically Multiple
